We have been providing energy consulting and solar equipment for the past few years and have a portfolio of jobs that cover from small to the very large.
Our philosophy is to build systems that are trouble free, and a step better than what the “inspection standard” calls for. While this does add a small cost to the overall system compared to the bare minimum, it pays back in efficiency quickly. We also are not afraid to show our costs and our profits. This takes the “mystery” out of solar. Because of this, we get most of the bids we go out on. Like the housing industry, there has been a lot of profit taking in the solar business the last few years, and those that build businesses on reasonable margins will continue to remain in business, in the years to come.
We have access to all types and manufacturers of solar equipment. If you prefer a specific panel we can provide it for you.
In 2007 we visited 14 solar module factories in China and found a thriving and ambitious industry. The quality control we found at 12 of the fourteen factories was acceptable, and it was a very hard decision to pick between the 4 companies that had what we considered excellent QC. The other factors that were important were the financial backing of a manufacturer that had to warranty panels for 20 years, ability to actually provide product flow, Research and Development division, technology and manufacturing innovation, and of course the workers working and living environment.
AltSys Solar will do direct importation of modules, inverters, design and implementation of complete systems, and will be focused on residential, agriculture, large municipal projects, and distribution.
We are partnering with Vahnn Blue Construction (Lic # 471203) which is one of the finest and highest workmanship general contractors in the area for our install crews.
We are also willing do financial consulting through third party institutions on larger projects.
